So now I am loosing what ever Free Account Sign Ups that I worked hard on getting. Also not to mention the countless hours it took to modify and install this site.
Now every account is lost or will be lost including all personal information by each person and pictures. I was suspending from this Hosting Company because they said I had numerous complaints of SPAM. Well I have not been able to see such complaints since so I have no proof that they exist.
Also I have done my Due Diligence to actually read something that NO ONE EVER READS... the dreaded TOS or Terms of Service.
Let me tell you this is a FULL Page of stuff that no one in their right mind would ever read only unless they had too.
So I did read it and since I asked in LIVE CHAT which this Web Hosting Provider has and talked to a Rep there they did tell me that each account has a Cap of sending 50 emails per hour.
Now that is rather slow. If you think about it someone can send more then 50 per hour just by using Yahoo.com or Gmail or even Outlook while at work.
So I asked if there was a way to upgrade that. The Rep said that he could upgrade me to be able to send a Max. Of 500 emails per hour.
So later on that same day in the evening when I got home from work and since I did not have a chance to make a copy of our Online Live Chat convo with this guy, I installed a program called PMMO or a FREE Open Source Email client that this Web Hosting provides three different ones.
My email was fully Spam compliant. It was simple all they had to do to stop any further emails was to click on the LINK and type in their Email Address and then choose via a radio button Subscribe or Unsubscribe.
How hard can that be right? Ok now yesterday at approx. 3:30 PM PST 29 Jan 09 I found out that my account had been Suspended and all my three domains were shut down. I then found an email into my yahoo account saying this:
Regarding your domain: connectingromance.com We regret to inform you that your account has been suspended due to your violation of our Terms of Service Agreement that you accepted at signup. At this time we must ask that you please seek an alternative hosting provider. Despite your violation of our TOS we as a courtesy will allow you 15 days from the date of Deactivation to remove your account from our servers. After that time your files and data will be completely deleted from our servers and in accordance with our refund policy a prorated refund will be issued back to the source used for original payment.
When you have found another hosting provider and are ready to make the necessary changes to you DNS and transfer your registration please give us a call, submit a Terms of Service/Abuse Complaints ticket via our help center or hop on live chat and we would be glad to take care of those changes for you.

So that is the email I got. How nice of them to give me 15 days. Why would someone in LIVE CHAT let me send 500 emails per hour when I did also tell this same guy that these are Opt - In leads. TOS does say about Double Opt - In Leads in one line then again it says after they must be Opt - In Leads. A slight confusion. Also the TOS states there is a 50 email per hour cap on every account. But then says there is a Max. of 500 per hour.
Let me show you what it says...
Spamming. Spamming, whether or not it overloads the Services or disrupts service to Company NAME Subscribers, is prohibited. The term "Spamming" includes, but is not limited to, the sending of unsolicited bulk and/or commercial messages over the Internet, maintaining an open SMTP policy, or sending to any mailing list that is not double opt in. Company NAME reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether e-mail recipients were part of an opt-in email list. Irrespective of whether an email campaign constitutes Spamming as defined herein, HostMonster.Com allows a MAXIMUM of 500 emails per hour to be sent from any individual hosting account.
There you see right there about the 500 emails per hour from any hosting account.
So it is up to them to determine if such emails were either Opt-In or not. They will say yes or no and how will they decide this? Will they email them also on their own to confirm this? What if the emails I have sent out were from the mass amount of people who signed up on my FREE DATING Site and I was simply asking each that shared a general interest since this Damn US Economy is so Damn BAD about a possible business opportunity that could maybe help them earn some money and help to stop a coming possible Foreclosure or even stop them from going hungry and kids also.
So I ask you this was this justified in the actions of this Hosting Company or was there something else behind it?
I ask you my fellow Americans and everyone else to view this with a open mind and open heart and notice that while running this FREE Dating Site that I did not profit only a mere $24.29 from Google Adsense. Now one more item.. I have two other domain names and I am now forced to find another Web Hosting Provider.
Now another issue is this new Hosting Provider since I am like everyone else not RICH at all will have to now pay an additional $14.95 per year for each of the two other domain names I still have which I have already Paid this Same Web Hosting Company $10 Each for a year. Now I will not pay this $14.95 extra fee per Domain since I have already paid for them and this Nice Hosting Company that is giving me the Boot and shutting down my FREE Dating Site will keep that money.
Is that fair? Ask yourself about that.
My site ConnectingRomance.com will run again I promise you. I will just give in to tyranny of ignorance.
